- So with things on livejournal being pretty quiet lately, it seems to me that quite a few people who used to be active on here have abandoned the place, it's not as busy as it used to be. As much as I hate going on a haitus, I have nothing of interest to write, I'll still be around to check and comment on the flist and my communities but things on here just aren't the same anymore.

The article goes on to give details. After six notices, internet providers will decide to throttle a person's internet speed, or cut it off altogether. I don't know if they will crack down on torrents only, or if it is up to the internet provider. I get the sense it is up to the internet provider. So some people could get away with downloading non torrents, while others might get their internet service cut off. I urge you to click it and read, as we all know people who download.
No more downloading eps of your favorite shows for vidding, gifs, or fanfiction art. No more downloading screencaps possibly. I'm so sorry my friends. I don't even know if BT Guard will work to protect you, but I would google it if I were you. It is a professional service that supposedly can protect you from the invasive eyes of your internet provider.
Just, my friends, please make each other aware. Please be aware of the date JULY 12TH. Mark your calendar and double check with your internet provider by then. If you start receiving notices of downloaded activity, this is why. And your internet service could be throttled or cut off.

Hey all. Just had a friend clear out, this time I've cut a frew people that never commented and I don't think I had much in common with. Sorry guys, no hard feelings. Of course oldest and newest friends stay. (Comments here are screened if you have something to say.)

- so for those of you who don't know a lot about English history, today is the 5th of November aka Bonfire Night or Guy Fawkes night for us brits. I love this time of year i love the smell the fireworks and the bonfires. I'm sure that many of you have seen the film V for Vendetta? Well that's loosley based around the Guy Fawkes character, but for those who don't know the history here's a link to good old wikipedia which will tell you all about Guy Fawkes and the history behind Bonfire Night.
- bought, listened and love florance + the machine's new album yesterday. you guys weren't wrong when you said that i'd love it. if i'm going to be honest i think it's her best album yet, it's such a chill out album. i'd love to go and see her live, some of my friends have had that experiance, and said that she's amazing.
- speaking of new obsessions, i bought x-men: first class and OMG AKLGJJFHSTKL SO MUCH LOVE FOR THAT FILM. on the last count i've seen it another four times since i bought it yesterday. i'll hold my hands up and say that yes i'm obsessed.

Friends Cut
I can't even remember when the last time I actually did a friends cut, but one was deffinatally over due. I'm sorry if you've been cut but I do have my reasons for cutting you, and quite a lot of the journals I cut haven't been updated in a very long time. Thank you for being there though, when we were actually good friends, I hope we meet again someday soon. I just ask that now that you've been removed from my friends list, I ask that you remove me from yours too.
